I’ve worked in medical practices where time with patients is squeezed to optimize a corporate budget. I’ve trained on the cutting edge of modern virtual care well before the pandemic made telehealth a standard. I’ve served on the frontlines of community health clinics, advocating for underserved patients while training the next generation of physicians. And I’ve traveled as a global health researcher, sitting down with transgender PLHIV in Bangkok to listen and analyze stories that required deep empathy, trust, and zero judgment.
Through every chapter, one truth became undeniable: the modern healthcare system is broken, and it is churning patients through it. And though it has tried to convince physicians and patients that there is no other way, I believe there must be a better way.
Though I tried, I couldn't change the system from within corporate walls. So I built a practice where "patient-centered care" isn't a marketing slogan—it’s the actual standard. DuMond Family Medicine is a refuge for those who have been unheard, rushed, and dismissed by medicine, and for those who just want really good care. What is my philosophy? To practice medicine grounded in an unwavering commitment to clinical excellence, evidence-based care, and keeping my patients at the center.

Informed Advocacy & Innovation: My background spanning community medicine, academic faculty, global health research, and pioneering work in telehealth taught me to look at the whole picture and stay creative. I combine rigorous medical standards and modern care models with deep respect for your individual values.
Challenging the Norm: Healthcare does not have to be transactional, or rushed. If providing safe, thorough, and accessible care means stepping outside the traditional system and doing it myself, that is the path I take.

About My Practice
The Direct Primary Care model is a little different than other primary care clinics. I do not bill through insurance per service or appointment. Instead, my patients pay a monthly membership fee that covers primary care services much like a gym membership. This allows me to prioritize my patients needs.
I offer 60 minute appointments so you can have the time you need.
I have a small panel size so there is ample appointment availability to get you in when you need, even last minute.
I am able to offer high quality in-between care. I spend a lot of time between appointments answering your questions, reviewing your records, and researching topics or questions we discussed in your appointment.
This clinic is a way for me to practice medicine the way I think is best: slow down, listen, and be present. If that sounds like a good fit for you, then lets connect and I can answer whatever questions you may have!

Membership Basics
What does the monthly membership fee cover?
-Primary care and preventative appointments (in-office and virtual)
-Portal messaging and phone calls
-Select office procedures

Do you see pediatric patients?
Yes! My practice is starting out serving patients ages 10+. Families are welcome to join with children <10 with the understanding that they will need to seek vaccinations/labs at an outside facility (I can help coordinate.) Please reach out to discuss!
What is considered a ‘Family’ under the Family Membership Pricing?
Families of three or more people from the same household including grandparents are eligible for the discounted family membership fee.
What is not included in the membership fee?
-I offer additional at-cost services listed on the Services Page
-Imaging: formal ultrasounds, X Ray, CT, MRI, or interventional procedures like EMGs are not included*
-Complex labs requiring a commercial lab center are not included*
-Outside Speciality Care is not included*
*I will gladly refer you to outside providers/imaging when needed or requested.
